Malware Removal University

This page preserves a piece of the board's history for the links that still point here. The Malware Removal University (MRU) was this forum's own program for training volunteers to help remove malware at established community forums — not a public page, but an application process members went through by email. Its mission, in the program's own words:

"The Mission of the Malware Removal University is to train volunteers to assist in removing malware at the various established malware removal forums, thereby helping to expand the availability and quality of volunteer help, and the usability of the Internet."

Training was free, self-directed by application rather than open enrollment, and graduates were expected to volunteer their time helping malware victims at community forums in return. The program is not active — like the rest of malwareremoval.com, it closed along with the board. This page exists as a historical record, not a live application form.
