Please Help! Deleting "Trojan.Pakes"

Unread postby tpct » July 30th, 2006, 1:40 pm

Hi,

I'm new to posting on a forum so please excuse any mistakes. Although I 'm not a computer illitarate I am far from being an expert and am not very comfortable doing things that are unfamiliar.

While running ewido antispyware a "tojan.pakes" was found. I tried deleting it with no success. Upon reading your forum I downloded Fixwareout, ran it and my computer already "seems" to run better. I hope it is not my imagination. However, I don't know if in fact the "trojan.pakes" was removed . Any help, advise, suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I tried restoring my computer several times but my system resore did work.

After running Fixwareout there was a request to post the report.

Here is the roport generated:

Fixwareout ver 1.003

Hi tpct

Use this link to get HijackThis.
Save it to your desktop and then double-click to run it.
It will install the program in c:\program files\HijackThis.
Browse to that location with windows explorer, and double click on the HijackThis.exe program to run. Choose the 'Do a system scan and save a logfile'
That will allow you to save the log to the desktop (or some other place) and leave open a notepad file with the HijackThis log in it.

Now post your HijackThis log into this topic.

Send also ewido report if available.

Unread postby tpct » July 30th, 2006, 3:02 pm

Hi Again,

Thank you so much for your reply. As you suggested I ran HighjackThis.exe and ewido. After ewido finished I had the following results:

*TrackingCookie.Tacola -------------- Med threat
*TrackingCookie.Casalemedia ------- Med threat
*TrackingCookie.Googleadservices - Med threat
*TrackingCookie.Clickbank ---------- Med threat

I tried deleting them within ewido but recieved the message "Error while deleting"

Below are the reports from "Highjackthis" and ewido.

Thannk you!!!
