I know very little about computers but have been told to come on here by a friend.
My homepage keeps getting directed to safteyuptodate.net and when i try to download the SmitfraudFix program i just get a window called HTTP 403 (forbidden) and it tells me im not authorised to visit this site!
can anyone help me as i keep getting pop-ups telling me ive got spyware and stuff!!!
See if you can use another computer and download hijackthis, smitfraudfix, and ewido antimalware. Then burn them to disc or put on a USB stick and take it to your computer.
Make sure you boot into safe mode as instructed in the link and run SmitfraudFix before Ewido. After you are done, reboot and do a scan with Hijackthis and post your log here.
