trackid=sp-006 on all of my search bar on new computer

i got a new Toshiba Satellite computer for Christmas yesterday. tis my first laptop! i used the computer for around an hour and put it away to charge while i went and joined in more festivities. I got home late last night and needed to search for a new years day hiking trip in my area and Google was all in dutch. i tried about five times to change the location before eventually figuring it out. i then noticed that everything i searched ended in "trackid=sp-006" and my computer i extremely slow. i have done a few full system scans through my paid version of Avast 2015 internet security and downloaded Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool. both which has come up clean and showed no difference.

what am i dealing with and how do i fix it?
Thank you so much for all you do!

By posting just a description of your problems it is likely that your topic will be passed by and you will not receive the help you're looking for.

We need to know what's running on your computer so that we can give you appropriate instructions.

May I draw your attention to THIS topic, which you should have read, and which tells you what we need you to post so that we can help you.

This thread will now be closed.

If you still need help, please start a new thread with:-
  • DDS logs (DDS.txt & Attach.txt)
  • Details of the problems you're experiencing.

If for any reason you can't run DDS, please let us know in your post.
