Hi,
Well it seems to be working ok but I have concern for the additional network conections that showed up like TAP-Windows Adapter V9, Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter

Your logs are clean, what you are seeing is not malware related.
Network adapters for example that have a name "TAP", are created by a virtual private network (VPN), they usually appear when you create a connection or install a program that requires a connection of this type to enable it to be configured.
If you wish i can direct you to a forum that deals with non-malware related problems if you're still concerned.

Time for some housekeeping

Please download delfix and save it to your desktop.
  • Right-click on delfix.exe and select " Run as administrator " to run it.
  • Check the following boxes then click on Run.

    • Remove disinfection tools
  • All tools we used to clean your computer should be gone now.
  • You can now delete any tools/logs we used if they remain on your computer.

Protection Programs
Don't forget to re-enable any protection programs we disabled during your fix.

Please read the article below which will give you a few suggestions for how to minimise your chances of getting another infection.

I would be grateful if you could reply to this post so that I know you have read it and, if you've no other questions, the thread can be closed.

Safe surfing!

Thank you for all your help. Is there anything I should do about the infection that the online scanner had reported? Since we were unable to fully run it I didn't know.

Hi,
Thank you for all your help

You're welcome.
I did see alot of tools in the list I didnt recall a lot of them is that something to be concerned about?

All those tools were used to clean your computer at some point, most of them were used on your previous visits here.
DelFix scans your computer and removes any of our tools that it finds.
Is there anything I should do about the infection that the online scanner had reported?

Can you remember what the online scan detected?

Due to a lack of response, this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
