Good browsing practice

Unread postby Norfolk'n'Clue » February 13th, 2006, 10:01 am

Hi,

I've had a quick search through this site, but either I couldn't find it, or couldn't see for looking!

Would it be worth, do you think, of including a sticky post somewhere (so guests could read it too) of good browsing practice? At the very least, a linnk to someone who has already provided such a thing.

Once you guys have helped clean someone's machine, it would go some way to helping them keep it clean...

That is a good idea, but unfortunately people will do what they do and go where they go... what we do do however is try to educate people on the best way to secure their computers and browsers. The rest is up to them!

Once a machine is cleaned we give what we call an all clean speech. This usually includes things a person may do to help them stay clean.

And this is always a good read.
