The Beijing Higher People's Court recently upheld a death sentence with a reprieve on Yu Bing, the former director of the network monitoring department of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau.

Rising AntiVirus was reportedly one of the companies that paid Yu bribes, handing over 4.2 million yuan ($0.63 million) to him in 2005, and requesting Yu to harm the interests of Micropoint - another antivirus company.
