Sounds in laptop suddenly stopped working

Unread postby lm04c » December 6th, 2010, 9:53 pm

I was using the laptop as normal, and all of a sudden I go to run a flash game online and the sound would not play. The speaker shows a green bar when clicked (as if a sound was playing). All of the checks I have tried registered the sound to be working and fully functional, I also tried Microsoft's 'MATS_RUN.AudioPlayback' utility to auto correct any issues, which it reported as not having any. What could the possible problem be here?

We do not have a troubleshooting forum at this site, so I would suggest you try What the Tech as they have a special forum for Notebook Hardware Issues.

Best of luck to you.
