Outbound SMTP traffic on Windows 7 - Mail BOT?

Several weeks ago, I found that I had malware on my system. I used both Spybot S&D and malwarebytes.org to clean it and everything seemed to be working much better. Now I'm experiencing excessive outbound SMTP traffic from my system. Outlook is not running and there are no other know applications installed that could cause this. I assume I have some kind of BOT. I'm using a simple TrendNet router to connect to the Internet. Its outbound logs show a ton of SMTP traffic coming from my PC. If I configure the Windows firewall to block outbound SMTP, the router shows no more SMTP traffic from me. I have Symantec Endpoint Protection loaded and it hasn't been able to find anything wrong either. All scanners are up to date. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
