Description of problem:

The computer boots and runs very well. Whenever Internet an Internet browser accesses the Web, popups will appear and try to sell antivirus software. I usually use Malwarebytes and other scanners to detect and remove infected files; however, Malwarebytes and Microsofts Malicous Software detection tool will not finish installing/updating. I believe that the malware on the pc is preventing executables that would remove itself. This has been a very flusterating problem for me... and to be quite honest, this is my last resort.

Remove Registry items with HighjackThis. Start HijackThis.

Make sure Every other window except HJT is closed (No other tabs showing in the bottom tray), and Click Fix Checked
Click the "X" in the upper right corner of the HiJackThis window to close it.

Take extra care in answering questions posed by any Uninstaller.

Start HijackThis
Click Do System Scan and Save a Log File.
