SQL Server Config is on my list of recently executed applications and I didn't execute it!
I confess, I've been running a torrent service and am afraid this laptop has been compromised. I know this is stupid and I don't deserve help but I'm asking, most humbly. I've since uninstalled it...
PLEASE HELP!!!!
Another concern: My laptop crashed a few times and when I looked in Event Viewer to try and diagnose it's returning: Event Viewer cannot open the event log or custom view. Verify that Event Log service is running. The data is invalid (13)

CKScanner

• Please download CKScanner from here to your Desktop.

Make sure that CKScanner.exe is on the your Desktop before running the application!

• Double-click on CKScanner.exe and click Search For Files.
• After a very short time, when the cursor hourglass disappears, click Save List To File.
• A message box will verify the file saved
• Double-click on the CKFiles.txt icon on your Desktop and copy/paste the contents in your next reply.

Please let me know if this computer is used for business purposes.

Yes, this computer is used for business but I'm only using it for email and this exchange until you can tell me what the problem is.

Hi DeltaLima,

2 things:

1. I freely admitted I used a peer to peer service and uninstalled it as instructed by this forum in order to get help. I'm trying to be born again and am asking for help.

2. This "business" computer is for myself. I'm self employed. I just filed an extension for my taxes because I couldn't complete filing in part because of my fear of divulging personal information to an unknown party. This is not a large enterprise I'm a part of, it's just me.
