Hi there Cypher, yes I completed all the instructions and sent the logs, I disabled mcafee when running eset and reenabled it before shutting down. I have an operating system disc but would prefer not to have to wipe and restore. No error messages just black boot screen with safe mode/safe mode with networking etc. options (none of which work, get windows logo then quick flash of blue text screen and then it tries to restart. No unusual noises or repetitve noises. Seems like some piece of code is gone? Can really use any help to get back so I can back up data, thanks.
Sorry the delay. In situations like this it is important we don't rush things. Are you able to access BIOS settings so that you can set computer boot from your CD/DVD drive? Also do you have access to another computer which has CD/DVD drive? Do you have a USB stick?
Due to a lack of response, this topic is now closed.
