Possible POST Number

Is there any chance that a Post number could be added when someone posts,
maybe at the side of the 'quote' button, or the btm corner

When there are numerous posts (20)-(30) and someone shows a quote from, say, the 1st page, it would be easier to look for the post number, than troll through the 'quotes'

It was just an observation from something I was reading, and the quotes had no name to them, so it was, 'who said that' ?

This software unfortunately does not have that feature - and I have not seem a Modifiaction to the software to achive that (although one may exist).
