Not able to view Yahoo Mail messages

Unread postby tseyigai » October 29th, 2009, 10:32 am

Hello,
Lately somehow my daughter got some malware on our computer and I've run S&D on it and Malware Bytes to get rid of stuff. But now, I still can't open up any messages in Yahoo mail. I can go to them, but each message reports an error message and won't let me in. Yahoo's not down, cause I can open them up in our lap top. Some links go to a strange place as well. McAfee won't run a complete scan either.

Thanks ahead of time,
Tseyigai

Hi tseyigai,

By posting just a description of your problems it is likely that your topic will be passed by and you will not receive the help you're looking for.

We need to know what's running on your computer so that we can give you appropriate instructions, and this information is provided by a HijackThis log.

This thread will now be closed.

If you still need help, please start a new thread with:-
  • A HijackThis log.
  • Details of the problems you're experiencing.
  • Any messages or error codes you may have got.

If for any reason you can't run HijackThis, please let us know in your post.
