Slow and Cranky

My wife, a novice PC user, experiences a very slow keyboard and a system "freeze" whenever she tried to do more than 2 or 3 web searches or emails successively. I am stumped. Norton 360 is installed and is updated and used regularly. This all started when she tried to log on to a friends wireless network without success. The log file is copied below. I have tried to do a system restore without success and would prefer not to do an F Disk iif I can help it. Can anyone figure out what has infected this PC. a Dell Vostro 1000 on Win XP? It has very lmited use, exclusively for Web browsing and emails.

My name is peku006 and I will be helping you to remove any infection(s) that you may have.
I will be giving you a series of instructions that need to be followed in the order in which I give them to you.

1 - download and run RSIT

• Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
• Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
• Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
• Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt<- (will be maximized) and info.txt<- (will be minimized)
