every time i try to update windows vista i get this error WindowsUpdate_80070002

If you have reason to believe this may be as a result of an infection you've contracted, then post a HJT log in the Malware Removal forum ...... HERE

If not, you're more likely to get appropriate help from a forum that specialises in Vista problems .....
