Another victim of CiD pop ups! man I hate IE

Unread postby IEshouldDIE! » September 19th, 2009, 2:41 pm

Hi, first post obviously, and I'm another victim of "CiD" IE pop ups, new windows opening, whatever you wanna call it. I ran every type of spyware, adware, anti-virus you can think of including Malewarebytes... nothing. So I guess I'll start with posting my HJT log. (I'm getting popups as I type this! #@*$%!) :x

Hi, and thanks for addressing my problem. I'm on my work computer so I can't post a new log, however, it looks the same. I think I'm all better now. I ran a LOP uninstaller and it removed a Firefox add on and the problem stopped. I guess when they say "author not verified" it should be taken more seriously. Thanks again, and "knock on wood" that it stays this way. :toothy5:
