First of all thankyou to asky in regards to my last post. Apologies for not replying in time - I've been offline for a short spell. As soon as I get on my desktop again (will be in 2/3 weeks) I will carry out your instructions. Thankyou!

In regards to koobface and other general infections, how can I avoid such things? I use AVG FREE intend to replace windows firewall with ZoneAlarm. I do regular scans with AVG and ad-aware but it obviously doesn't seem to be enough.

Unfortunately I have similar problems with my laptop which I now have with me so will be able to check this forum regularly for response/instruction/advice.

Here is my log file...

Hi wreakinhavok

Please click this link-->Jotti

Copy/paste file on the list into the white Upload a file box and click Submit/Send (depends on which one you are using Jotti or VirusTotal).

C:\Program Files\KL\dqnrrrgmya.exe

Please post back the results of the scan in your next post.

If Jotti is busy, try the same at Virustotal: http://www.virustotal.com/

You can just copy/paste filepath to Upload a file box and click Submit/Send, no need to search for it :)

Due to lack of response this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
