Need help with spoolsv.exe error!

Unread postby shmancy3 » August 9th, 2009, 5:10 pm

Okay, I am having problems with my laptop and I need help fixing it. When I start my laptop and it gets to the point where it trys to connect to the internet I get an error message that says the following:

Message Title: Microsoft Visual C + + Runtime Library

Program Path: C:\Windows\System32\spoolsv.exe

Received: and the date I was logging in goes here.

I then start having problems with my browser...I use Firefox. It freezes constantly and I have to go to the task manager to get out of it in order to close it. I also cannot open Microsoft Office Word 2007, etc. It's getting to the point where the problem isn't happening intermitantly(sp?) anymore but regularly.

I have noticed that the error pops up when I start up my laptop. If I shut off the wireless connection while its starting I can, after everything has booted up, then turn on the wireless connection without the error message.

I have no idea what this is, where I got it from, or how to get rid of it...can you please help me?

Oh, also, I'm running Windows Vista OS.

Thank you!
