Hi there, I'm Rachel and I ran across this site in a google search. My computer in the past couple ofunning very slow. First off about 2 days ago I was on a forum that I've been a member of for 2 years. All of a sudden my whole screen turned blue and had tiny white writting on it. I couldn't get the screen to go away by anything I tried. My computer finally restarted itself. Ever since then it's taking 30-60 secs to open a web page and typing is taking forever it seems. Like it takes my computer a min to realize what is coming through. My internet contiues to not respond along with my windows at times. Back in Nov. 2008 I got Trend Micro installed (antivirus antispyware). I can't get it to update after many attempts. I did run a scan and had 5 potentiel threats found and fixed with no help. I use a router/modem combo. I have deleted all cookies, browsing sessions, temp internet files and so on and so forth. I have windows defender and it needs an update and everytime I try to update it I get a error found code 0x80240016. I've tried system restore with no luck. I've tried reseting my modem/router and restarting my computer and it hasn't helped either. I'm not sure if somehow I've gotten hold of malware or not. I'm not to computer savvy either. I basicly know how to turn it on and get where I'm going online and that's about it. As far as how it works and how to get tech with it....I'm lost. If anyone could try to talk with me to get my problem resolved I'd really be thankful!
