Popup from "Windows Security Center"

Unread postby fasoldr » March 29th, 2009, 8:29 pm

As I am using my computer, I get notices that it is infected by malware. Sometimes it is in the form of a bubble from the task bar, sometimes a window appears midscreen. If I click on it, I am taken to a web site that appears to be scanning my hard disk and asks me for personal information. I ran Anti-Malware which improved matters some, but I am still getting the notices repeatedly as I work. If it would be helpful, I could attach a .jpg screenshot of the notices.

Thanks for any help you can give.
