Non-QWERTY Keyboards.

Unread postby Konfucide » February 1st, 2009, 11:10 pm

I was reading about diffusion of innovation by Rogers and encountered the idea of non-QWERTY keyboards being slowly adopted despite of its relative advantage to QWERTY keyboards.

Anyone have tried or actually use this kind of keyboard? I am just curious of its claimed advantage over the conventional keyboards.

I actually haven't seen anything in personal, just pictures and review. :D

Thanks!

Some say that there really i not that big an advantage with the other keyboards and it is hell for those who have learnt one to try to get used to another keyboard. Try a German or French one and you will see what I mean.

Is there an advantage in using them? Did not know that. In the Netherlands we use QWERTY, but in Belgium and Germany they do not.
