Reason for slowness is here:

Total RAM: 223 MB (30% free)

You have way too little RAM for XP to work well.

I recommend that you at least double it; RAM is very cheap nowadays.

Thanks I'll look into that, Does it look like my computer has freed itself up a bit? is that all we can do for now? Thanks again

Computer gets slower by age.

We can disable some startup programs but adding RAM is only real help for slowness.
