My brother-in-law reccomened this site, I am posting under his account. FYI

Some major symptoms

Lag and complete character missing when typing words. (I had to re-type several for this post alone)
Constant hard drive writing
Disabled automatic updates

Sorry for the double post, but I just ran a Malware Removal tool and it appears to have "fixed" this issue as my automatic updates appear to be working. I am, however, a bit skeptical that this fix will last, as I have seen these things regenerate. Any assistance would still be appreciated.

Please do not use an account belonging to another person. Register and post with your own account. Once you've posted your HijackThis log using your own account, do not respond in that topic until you've received a reply from a helper.

Helpers are looking for topics that have zero replies. If you post a reply in your own topic before you've received a response from a helper, your topic will no longer have zero replies and will likely be mistaken for one where a helper is already assisting and will, therefore, be passed over.
