Do I still have spyware?

Hi I hope i am doing this properly. I contracted spyaxe . I dobloaded a program called Panda and it supposedly got rid of it. I don't think it got rid of it completely however. I have downloaded Avg and rana scan , spybot. and adware. They all say it is clean however panda still will pop up occationally with a pyware in my (volume memory?) asking wether I want to deleat it also I downloaded another spyware program (can't remember which one and it said I had 245 infections and wanted me to purchase to get rid them. You may want to print this out, or save it as a Notepad document on your Desktop, since you won't have Internet access during the part of this in Safe Mode.
You have two AntiVirus applications running at the same time. This can cause all kinds of trouble.
Decide whether you want Panda or AVG, and uninstall the other. I will assume you just paid for Panda, and wish to keep it.
If that is not correct, Let me know and I will change this fix for you

Set Your Computer to Show All Files
Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' (or 'Show all files') is enabled. Also make sure that 'Display the contents of system folders' is checked. In addition, if you have Windows XP, go to Start, Search. When you click on 'All files and folders' on the left pane, click on the 'More advanced options' at the bottom. Make sure that 'Search system folders', 'Search hidden files and folders', and 'Search subfolders' are checked.

If a message pops up saying "File in use", or something like that, hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete and look under the Processes tab. If the filename is in there, click End Process, then retry Delete.
Note the name and location of any file you cannot delete.

Download and install CCleaner from here.
Set Options in CCleaner and run Cleaning Scan. Open the CCleaner program.
( Do not use the Issues block to clean anything with this program. It is for experts only and it is risky).

• Select all Temp Files for Removal.
  Click on the Options block on the left. Select Advanced.
  Uncheck "Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 48 hours".
  Click on the Custom button.
  In the pane titled Custom Files and Folders to Clean, type C:\Windows\prefetch\
  Then click Add Folder
  
• Set Cookie Retention.
  Click on the Options block on the left, then choose Cookies.
  Under the Cookies to delete pane, highlight any cookies you would like to retain permanently (those companies or sites with which you regularly visit or do business), and click the right arrow > to move them to the Cookies to keep pane.
  
• Run Cleaning Scan. Click on the Cleaner block on the left. Choose the Windows tab.
  Check everything Except Autocomplete Form History and the Advanced part of the Menu. Click the Run Cleaner button. This process could take a while. When CCleaner shows how much has been removed, cleaning is finished. Click Exit.
  
• Reset Temp File Removal for Regular Use.
  Click on the Options block on the left. Select the Advanced button.
  Check "Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 48 hours".
  Click on the Custom button.
  In the pane titled Custom Files and Folders to Clean, highlight C:\Windows\prefetch\, and click Remove Selected.
  
• Set CCleaner to Run When Computer Starts. Click on the Options block on the left, then choose Settings. Check Run Ccleaner when computer starts.

Optional Fixes

• Remove the last HP advertising page from Internet Ezplorer. You can go to HP.com yourself anytime you want.
• The HP keyboard update has been troublesome. See here : http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;812337
  If you want to remove it from startup, check it for removal below. Otherwise leave it.
• The Sun Java updates can be done manually. No need to have a continuously running reminder program.
  If you agree, check that one too from the list below.

Remove log items with HighjackThis. Start HijackThis. If the opening screen shows, choose None of the above, just start the program.
Click Scan. When the Scan is complete, Check the following entries:

There's no problem with CCleaner. It's my directions that were no good. Here's the way It should be:
Open CCleaner. Click Options, then Custom. Click Add Folder. When the dialog comes up, go find C:\Windows\Prefetch\ and click OK.
A warning will come up saying that the folder will be emptied upon cleaning. Are you sure, etc. Click Yes.

After you go to Cleaner button, Windows tab, and click Run Cleaner one more time, be sure to reset the prefetch entry by removing it like this:
Open CCleaner. Click Options, then Custom. Highlight C:\Windows\Prefetch\ and click Remove Selected.
A warning will come up saying Remove the entry?. Click Yes.

Now let's do a final cleanup and security improvement.

Disable WinXP System Restore
Disable your System Restore to remove malware files that have been backed up by Windows. The files in System Restore are protected to prevent any programs changing them. The only way to erase these files is to temporarily disable System Restore. You will lose all previous restore points which are likely to be infected.
- Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
- On the System Restore tab, put a Check mark in the Turn Off System Restore check box.
- Click OK twice, and then click Yes when you are prompted to restart the computer.
If you are not prompted to reboot, do it on your own.

After the Reboot,
Enable WinXP System Restore
- Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
- On the System Restore tab, Clear the Check mark beside the Turn Off System Restore check box.
- Click OK twice, and then click Yes when you are prompted to restart the computer.
The Disable/Re-enable System Restore sequence is not to be done regularly, but only once after the removal of malware.

Secure your Internet Explorer
- From within Internet Explorer, click on the Tools menu and then click on Internet Options.
- Click once on the Security Tab
- Click once on the Internet icon so it becomes highlighted.
- Click once on the Custom Level button.
- Change the Download signed ActiveX controls to Prompt
- Change the Download unsigned ActiveX controls to Disable
- Change the Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe to Disable
- Change the Installation of desktop items to Prompt
- Change the Launching programs and files in an IFRAME to - Prompt
- Change the Navigate sub-frames across different domains to - Prompt
- Click on the Advanced Tab
- Uncheck the box "Enable Install On Demand (Internet Explorer)"
- Uncheck the box "Enable Install On Demand (Other)"
- When all these settings have been made, click on the OK button.
- If it prompts you as to whether or not you want to save the settings, press the Yes button.
- Press the Apply button and then the OK to exit the Internet Options page
