Nothing really happened until boot up the next day, when my Firefox Profile was corrupted. I had the same problem when I jumped from FF2 to FF3 - Program won't start up for hours, if it all and takes up a lot of memory under processes, while not being listed under applications until it actually pops up. I just manually created a new profile and that problem was solved.Windows Media Player won't play video, but plays audio. Seemed like a codec error, so I reinstalled a bunch of codecs but it didn't help. The videos play fine in Media Player Classic. When I tried to set the option "show what I'm listening to" in msn messenger, it crashes or shows an error message. When I tried to uninstall msn messenger, it gave me this and didn't let me continue with the uninstall. A LOT of programs won't uninstall now due to these kind of key errors which is my main problem.
So now I figure I got something because all of this didn't start until I went on that site. I am an admin and the only user on my comp, and I connect using a router. Firefox is what I normally use but IE is my default.
Also, whatever it is totaled my Lavasoft Ad-Aware. Every time I boot I get a off-desktop error asking me to send an error report. It won't open ("System Error 1810 has occurred. Description: Service is not online. Application terminates"), and it won't uninstall, again, a key error listed under "media".
Avast! report says its an HTML:Iframe-gen infection.
