Comp is running slow and freezes often

And by often, I mean shortly after every time I start it up. For some reason, whenever I boot it up, it shows that about 40-45% of my RAM is in use even when I don't start up any applications and before it started to continually freeze, things were running slowly.

Please do not run any other tool until instructed to do so!
Please reply to this thread, do not start another!
Please tell me about any problems that have occurred during the fix.
Please tell me of any other symptoms you may be having as these can help also.
Please try as much as possible not to run anything while executing a fix.


If you follow these instructions, everything should go smoothly.


With reference to Malware Removal P2P Programs Policy, please uninstall the following programs before we continue:

1. Click on Start > Control Panel and double click on programs and features.
   
2. Right click BitTorrent DNA and click on Uninstall to uninstall it.
   
3. Repeat for any other P2P programs that may be installed.

Make an uninstall list using HijackThis
To access the Uninstall Manager you would do the following:

1. Right click on HijackThis and click Run as administrator
2. Click on the Config button
3. Click on the Misc Tools button
4. Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.
5. Click on the Save list... button and specify where you would like to save this file. When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file. Simply copy and paste the contents of that notepad here in your next reply.

Please post the Uninstall List and a fresh HijackThis log in you next reply.

In your first post, you excluded the first few lines from your HijackThis log. Please include those lines when you post the new HijackThis log.
