I don't see anything in your log that would be expected to give you a problem.

hi askey! thanx for responding. i had a problem with speed, i was going extremely slow. my norton/symantec icon in the lower right corner has an exclamation mark but i am unable to find out why. two weeks ago i recieved an error report from microsoft saying that my norton needs to be updated, or i have a klez worm. i find no evidence of klez in the re
gistry, and i continually use liveupdate on my norton. my norton doesn't show any thing in the history file . in fact i cant really tell that its working at all. and finally, it is working better, not as fast as i remember it, but my family reports that they feel it is working better.
does my hijack indicate symantec is ok?

The HJT log can't tell whether the Norton AV is working perfectly.

I would use Start, All Programs, and locate the Norton AntiVirus console (it may be under Symantec), start it up and check Status. It will tell you whether AutoProtect is working, if any updates are needed, and the last full scan date.

As for the exclamation mark, you may get an explanation by right-clicking the icon in the System tray.

You can scan for Klez independently by downloading the Stinger standalone scanner from here: http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/.
