Chris' Virus

Unread postby CVARGO » October 25th, 2008, 7:34 am

My last thread was closed because I didn't reply in time. I was working with Chuck on a virus/malware issue with my computer.

His last request was to post my Malwarebytes and HJT logs. I posted those below. My computer continues to run slow with an occasional security message stating that I have a security alert.

Thanks for the help!!

Malwarebytes Log on next post.

Chris

Hello CVARGO, glad to see you come back so we can finish your log !
I am reviewing it now, will be back soon with instructions.
While i am doing this can you describe virus/malware issue better for me and the occasional security message for me, or better yet can you post the messages ??

Thanks

Hello CVARGO, i do not see any signs of an infection.
Can you check your Spyware Doctor to see if it has an antivirus protection installed, you may be getting a false positive from it and
Symantec.
Also can you post the Malwarebytes log for me ??

Thanks
Chuck

Due to Lack of Response this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
