DinoHuskic

Hello again DinoHuskic.

You seem to have picked up a couple of versions a trojan.
It sets itself to run each time there is a connection to the Internet.

You will want to copy this into your favorite word editor (notepad or Wordpad)
You will not have connection to the Internet, so this page won't be available to you.

I would like for you to download some programs and then we'll get to work.

A. Download the trial version of TrojanHunter4.2 from: http://www.misec.net/trojanhunter/
1. Install, update and do a full scan. Allow the program to fix what is found.

B. Download the FxLodear.exe file from: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/av ... Lodear.exe
**** This is a fixit tool for these 3:
Trojan.Lodear.B
Trojan.Lodear.C
Trojan.Lodav.A

1. Save the file to a convenient location, such as your Windows desktop

2. Close all the running programs.

3. If you are on a network or if you have a full-time connection to the Internet, disconnect the computer from the network and the Internet

4. Locate the file that you just downloaded.

5. Double-click the FxLodear.exe file to start the removal tool.

6. Click Start to begin the process, and then allow the tool to run.

7. A log will be created. Open the log, and Save as.... Fixit.1 and save to your desktop.

8. Restart the computer, remaining offline

9. Run the removal tool again to ensure that the system is clean.
You should get a message that nothing was found.
If something was found, and the tool unable to delete, save a copy of that log, also. Name it Fixit.2

C. Open HijackThis and run a scan.

Put a check/tick next to these, if present:
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customi ... ch/ie.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customi ... .yahoo.com

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [auto__hloader__key] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\hloader_exe.exe

With nothing open (everything closed) except HJT, click on the Fix Checked button.
Exit HijackThis.

D. Click Start >>> Run and type in the box: cleanmgr.exe
Click Ok
Let it scan your system for files to remove. Make sure these 3 are checked and then press "Ok" to remove:
Temporary Files
Temporary Internet Files
Recycle Bin

Close the program.

E. Click Start[/B] >>>> Settings >>> Control Panel
Double click on Folder Options
Under the View tab, scroll down to Hidden Files and Folders
Check Show hidden files and folders
Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types
Uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended} Answer Yes
Click Apply and click OK
Exit out of Control Panel.

F. Reboot your computer into Safe Mode by gently tapping on the F8 key after the first "beep"
You will be taken to a black screen with a white set of choices.
Use your arrow key to choose SafeMode (without networking!
(Or type in the number for SafeMode)

Your desktop will appear, very distorted, with the words Safe Mode in all 4 corners.

G. Click on Start >>> Search >>>> Files and folders
Choose your C:\ drive
Choose Advanced Options

Into the file box, type in hloader_exe.exe
Delete every one found

When finished with that one, type in antiav_exe.exe
Again, delete every one found.

H. Empty the Recycle Bin. Reboot normally.

I. Open HijackThis, scan and save the report.

J. Reconnect to the Internet and go here for an online scan:
http://housecall.trendmicro.com
Allow anything found to be deleted.

When finished, please paste the HJT log and the Fixit.2 log if one was created
