Welcome to Malware Removal.

Sorry for the delay, we are swamped with logs.

Step 1

Please uninstall this program - VirusKeeper 2008 Pro Evaluation

It used be on the rogue list of anti-spyware.

Click on Start > Control Panel and double click on Add/Remove Programs.

Locate VirusKeeper 2008 Pro Evaluation and click on the Change/Remove button to uninstall it.

After that, please install ONE of these antivirus programs:

avast! 4 Home Edition
AntiVir Free Edition

Please restart your computer after installing an antivirus program.

Step 2

1. Open HijackThis.
2. Click on the Open the Misc Tools section button.
3. Look under System tools.
4. Click on the Open Uninstall Manager... button.
5. Click on the Save list... button.
6. It will prompt you to save. Save this log in a convenient location. By default it's named uninstall_list.txt.
7. Notepad will open. Please post this log in your next reply.

Step 3

Click on Start > Run and copy and paste the following command into the box and press OK:
cmd /c dir C:\*.* /L /A /B /S|Find "skeys" >> "%userprofile%\desktop\look.txt"
A file called look.txt should appear on your Desktop. Please post the contents of this file in your next reply.

Hi Lona,

1. Please download this tool from Microsoft.
2. Double click on MGADiag.exe to run it.
3. Click Continue.
4. The program will run. It takes a while to finish the diagnosis, please be patient.
5. Once done, click on Copy.
6. Open Notepad and paste the contents in. Save this file and post it in your next reply.
