Hi! Welcome to the forums.
My name is Scotty. I would be glad to take a look at your log and help you with solving any malware problems. HijackThis logs can take a while to research.
Please be patient.

Please make a uninstall list using HijackThis
To access the Uninstall Manager you would do the following:

1. Start HijackThis
2. Click on the Config button
3. Click on the Misc Tools button
4. Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.
5. Click on the Save list... button and specify where you would like to save this file. When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file. Simply copy and paste the contents of that notepad here in a reply.

Scotty,

I am not ignoring you and still require your help. I can no longer get on the internet with the computer that is infected. Every time it starts to open and internet explorer window it closes it down. Every time I try to clean my Temp Internet files, McAfee shuts down and stops working, it doesnt complete the cleaning process. Is there any advice that you can give me so I can get this computer online to get to those webpages.

Thanks,
Josh

Obviously you have access to another computer. Do you have a USB stick or does it have a CD Burner?

YES.. I do have access to another computer. My situatioin is not normal. I am an injured soldier that has been assigned to a medical unit awaiting a medical discharge. I have no vehicle and my only means of transportation is a shuttle bus provided by them. The shuttle only goes to specific areas. So betwen physcial theropy and other various Dr. appointments it is not the easiest for me to get here.

So to answer your question, I do have a thumb drive, the computer has a disc burner but I have no disc's. My time is limited on this computer. But thank you for your help

Could you download and save this to the USB stick?

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe

Transfer it to the infected computer, saving it on the Desktop. Leave the USB stick connected, we will have to ensure it isnt now infected.
If any of your anti-virus/antispyware programs havent been disabled by the infection, disable them now.

Now run Combofix, and hopefully, you will be able to reconnect to the Internet on completion.

Every timeI try it says the connection to the server was reset. Then when I try to open the link by clicking on it, it tells me that the web page can nopt be accessed.

These are military computers with various types of web pages and actions blocked.

I can try and find another computer somewhere andtry again tommorow.

Due to lack of response this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
