Welcome to Malware Removal.

Disable CA Antivirus and Antispyware temporary

Please see this guide to disable CA Antivirus and Antispyware - http://homeofficekb.ca.com/CIDocument.a ... &KDId=2636

The instructions are for disabling the firewall, but the instructions are similar to disable CA Antivirus and Antispyware.

Remember to re-enable them before posting back the logs.

If you already have Combofix, please delete this copy and download it again as it's being updated regularly.

Please download Combofix from Bleeping Computer and save it to your desktop.

Go to Microsoft's website => http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310994

Select the download that's appropriate for your Operating System





Download the file & save it as it's originally named, next to ComboFix.exe.

Once Recovery Console is installed, you should see a blue screen prompt like the one below:



Click Yes to allow Combofix to continue scanning for malware.

When done, a log will be produced. Please post that log and a new HijackThis log in your next reply.

Do not mouse click on Combofix while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

1. Open HijackThis.
2. Click on the Open the Misc Tools section button.
3. Look under System tools.
4. Click on the Open Uninstall Manager... button.
5. Click on the Save list... button.
6. It will prompt you to save. Save this log in a convenient location. By default it's named uninstall_list.txt.
7. Notepad will open. Please post this log in your next reply.

In your next reply, please post:

1. Combofix log (C:\Combofix.txt)
2. A new HijackThis log
3. The Uninstall list
