What does your...Avatar mean?

Unread postby MikeSwim07 » July 12th, 2008, 9:34 am

Yes, this is a follow up to the other thread "What does your name mean?"

My avatar is a picture of my dog. I actually just got another one a few months ago so I should get a picture of them together. That's for another time.

So what does your avatar mean, represent? Why did you choose it?

Mine's a miserable, curmudgeonly (one for the kiddies to look up), old geezer (Gargamel), can't for a moment think why I chose it. ;) :D

Opens online dictionary:

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/curmudgeonly

Adj. 1. curmudgeonly - brusque and surly and forbidding; "crusty remarks"; "a crusty old man"; "his curmudgeonly temper"; "gruff manner"; "a gruff reply"

My avatar doesnt mean a thing !!!

Iam absolute rubbish at anything "arty" but saw the bug in a post somewhere and the idea kinda appealed as i didnt have an avatar at the time.

When i find something better i intend replacing it, and will move the bug to my signature, i know of at least one person that has tried to wipe it off their monitor

Problem is i have to keep a look out for Gary and his DDT.exe

I am among those who were present at the first meeting of the Tolkien Society in Stockholm in the end of 1972 and I am still a member under the name Elrond. I am the Founder of the Tolkien Society in Jerusalem but that was also a long time ago. Yes I was very interested in Tolkien and I am still interested in it but I have other interests that take more of my time nowadays.
However I can still write English and Swedish in Tengwar letters although I seldom do so.

My avatar is a character from a Japanese Anime called Dragonball Z. His name is Piccolo and he's from the planet Namek. He's one of my favorite characters on the show.
