Once the copied text is pasted into Notepad:
First in notepad, go to Edit, uncheck Word Wrap.
Next:
Select File, choose Save as (Be sure to save it to Desktop - Navigate there before you click Save Button)
This will give you the box/window for saving the file. In the first called Name: Name it: "Fix.bat" (copy/paste exactly, with both " included)

Select Save Button.

This should now be on desktop. First, remember to right-click and select Run as Administrator. Then Double Click and let it run.
Continue with my previous post instructions.

what happens is i get as far as having fix.bat (fix) on my desktop and running as administrator
i click on it and the file (opens and closes very quickly)
The last post is what it reads i hope that makes sense.
my son in law whom came to visit looked for me and he thaught "fix.bat" did not support vista (windows platform)
(he tried to help me but was also not sure.
i said we will leave things alone and ask again have attached new log
(also popups have stopped)

4. Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.
5. Click on the Save list... button and specify where you would like to save this file. When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file.
Simply copy and paste the contents of that notepad here on your next reply.

Below are some steps for keeping your PC safe.

First:
Classic Start Menu & Classic Control Panel users

1. Click on Start > Settings > Control Panel.
   
2. Double click on Programs and Features. OR Under Programs, click on Uninstall a program.
   (Depending on Classic/Vista Start/Control Panel View)
   
3. Select Navilog1 3.5.9 and click on Uninstall to uninstall it.
   
4. Close the Control Panel window.

Congratulations you are clean!
Now that you are clean, please follow these simple steps in order to keep your computer clean and secure:

Disable and Enable System Restore-VISTA
This will keep you from Restoring any nasties we have cleaned.
This is a good time to clear your existing system restore points and establish a new clean restore point:

Turn off System Restore-Vista

• Click the Vista/Start icon.
  
• Right Click >> Computer
  
• Click Properties.
  
• Click the System Protection tab.
  
• Uncheck All drives
  
• Click "Turn Off System Restore" at the prompt then click "Apply".
  
• Restart your computer.
  

Turn ON System Restore-Vista

• Click the Vista/Start icon
  
• Right Click >> Computer
  
• Click Properties.
  
• Click the System Protection tab.
  
• Checkmark All drives that were selected previously then click "Apply".
  

This will remove all restore points except the new one you just created.

(Vista users must ensure that any programs are Vista compatible BEFORE installing)

The MVPS Hosts file replaces your current HOSTS file with one containing well know ad sites etc. Basically, this prevents your computer from connecting to those sites by redirecting them to 127.0.0.1 which is your local computer.

Update your Antivirus programs and other security products regularly to avoid new threats that could infect your system.
