BEEN HIJACKED!! HELP!!

Unread postby fotophun » June 1st, 2008, 12:53 am

I do not know where to begin to get rid of what is going on with my computer, just as I even typing this I am getting the popups of critical warning..

I downloaded the trial version os TREND MICRO and did a scan.
I do not know where to find the list to put up here.
the warning I just received was about CyberLogX
TREND MICRO said it could not get rid of Cryp_Upack and that I was to go to Microsoft

I left yesterday and came back home to this mess, one of the things that kept flashing on was some HEAT VIRUS software.
there is also two icons on my desktop ONLINE SECURITY GUIDE AND SECURITY TROUBLESHOOT..

OOne more thing TREND MICRO did say the file that was infected was lyayyxf.dll

THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING AS THIS WAS THE WEEKEND TO FINISH A GRADUATION PRESENT FOR MY DAUGHTER, IT WOULD HAVE TO BE THIS WEEKEND!!!!
HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED............

Download and Run HijackThis
Download HJTInstall.exe to your Desktop.

* Doubleclick HJTInstall.exe to install it.
* By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
* Click on Install.
* It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
* Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
* Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
* Copy/Paste the log to your next reply please.

Don't use the Analyse This button, its findings are dangerous if misinterpreted.
Don't have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

please post new HJT log

Due to lack of response, this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
