GLB2B.TMP - worried

The Defense+ module of my Comodo Firewall warned me this morning that it had detected 'possible malware behaviour' in a file called GLB2B.TMP. I had Comodo block the file from accessing the internet, and Googled the file name, which doesn't exactly fill me with hope; all the hits I got were regarding malware. I also noticed that after the detection Defense+ showed as disabled - I had to re-enable it manually.

My computer has been running more slowly than normal, though I defragmented it the other day and it's been a bit better since. I'm not turning up anything in my virus scans (I've used Avast, Spybot S&D, and the scanner that comes with Comodo Firewall) and I'm hoping it's a false alarm, but I was directed to a peculiar link the other day which redirected me to a page with a URL made up of random letters, which in turn redirected me to a different URL, ad infinitum. I closed the page as soon as I could but I'm concerned that I might have picked up something.

I'll be on holiday for five days from tomorrow, so after about 24 hours from now I'm afraid I won't be contactable *headdesk*. Worst timing ever.

I have no idea what GoPetsLive is so I'm pretty sure that even if nothing else is wrong *crosses fingers* I've got some sort of adware/spyware running there.

There is nothing dramatic showing in your HJT log, let's get some more info.
GoPetsLive is a "virtual pet online" site, and is not considered a risk.

Kaspersky Online Scanner .
Your Antivirus and/or Antispyware may give a warning during the scan. This is perfectly normal
NOTE:- This scan is best done from IE (Internet Explorer)

Read the Requirements and limitations before you click Accept.
Allow the ActiveX download if necessary
Once the database has downloaded, click Next.
Click Scan Settings and change the "Scan using the following antivirus database" from standard to extended and then click OK.
Click on "My Computer" and then put the kettle on!
When the scan has completed, click Save Report As...
Enter a name for the file in the Filename: text box and then click the down arrow to the right of Save as type: and select text file (*.txt)
Click Save - by default the file will be saved to your Desktop, but you can change this if you wish.



Installed Programs

Please could you give me a list of the programs that are installed.

• Start HijackThis
• Click on the Misc Tools button
• Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.

You will see a list with the programs installed in your computer.
Click on save list button and specify where you would like to save this file.
When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file.
Simply copy and paste the contents of that notepad into your next post.

Please post both logs in your reply.
