I removed a lot of malware and troyans out of a friends laptop and he has a few registry errors during the startup process on win xp. Is there a good and "free" registry cleaner that woud stops does few registry errors from showing up?

Hello PHG-IT,

We do not recommend the use of Registry Cleaners.

It is possible those registry errors are a result of your attempts for "removal of malware and trojans".

If your friend wants us to check what it wrong, he can open a new thread here and post about the problems he/she has.

As Chryssi has said, it is not safe for us to give advice based on the scant information you have supplied.

If your friend's computer is infected and he needs assistance, please get him to run a scan with HijackThis and then start a new thread containing that log.

This thread is now closed.
