Hi

Normally, a computer is shipped with either Recovery Discs or a Partition. Example with my Compaq/HP, it came with aa Recovery Partition and the software to create my own recovery discs. You may have to contact Toshiba to have Recovery Discs sent out. They may charge you for the priviledge. I know HP do but Dell dont.
You could borrow a Windows CD but it would have to be model specific. My recovery discs did not work on a friends pc, which were the same models but his was a later version.

Alternatively, we can go right ahead to try and clean up.

Did your computer come with any CD's/DVD's, mainly one called Product Recovery?

hi there,

My computer became really bad and it would only stay on for 3 minutes at a time.

i went through all of my old cds and found that luckily i did have the product recovery cd. so i salvaged what files i could and used the recovery disk. now my computer is back to normal.
