while you are waiting one other thing that can be of good use is an uninstall list so please do the following

Make an uninstall list using HijackThis
To access the Uninstall Manager you would do the following:

1. Start HijackThis
2. Click on the Config button
3. Click on the Misc Tools button
4. Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.
5. Click on the Save list... button and specify where you would like to save this file. When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file. Simply copy and paste the contents of that notepad here in your next reply.

P2P Warning!

IMPORTANT I notice there are signs of one or more P2P (Person to Person) File Sharing Programs on your computer.

Ares Peer-to-peer File Sharing

Please note that as long as you are using any form of Peer-to-Peer networking and downloading files from non-documented sources, you can expect infestations of malware to occur
Once upon a time, P2P file sharing was fairly safe. That is no longer true. You may continue to use P2P sharing at your own risk; however, please keep in mind that this practice may be the source of your current malware infestation

I'd like you to read the Guidelines for P2P Programs where we explain why it's not a good idea to have them.

I would recommend that you uninstall Ares, however that choice is up to you. If you choose to remove these programs, you can do so via Control Panel >> Add or Remove Programs.

If you wish to keep it, please do not use it until your computer is cleaned.

I noticed that you are using the BearShare MediaBar - Toolbar which is listed as a Caution entry on Malware Removal's Clean/Infected P2P Programs. The BearShare MediaBar - Toolbar redirects 404 page to sponsored "search results," often unrelated to original site (gibberish website names result in Adult Friend Finder search results, for example). Other P2P Programs listed as Caution:

• iMesh MediaBar – ToolBar
  
• Morpheus.

I recommend that you check this listing so that you can choose one from the Clean P2P listing and uninstall BearShare.

Uninstall BearShare..

1. Click Start > Control Panel.
   
2. In Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs.
   
3. In Add or Remove Programs, highlight BearShare, click Remove. Note: If BearShare does not appear in the list of programs or does not uninstall properly, reinstall it and repeat the above instructions.
   
4. Close the Add or Remove Programs and the Control Panel windows.
   
5. Using Windows Explorer (Windows key+e), search for the BearShare program folder. If the program folder is still there, select/highlight the BearShare program folder. DELETE it. (File > Delete.) If Windows is not installed on the C drive, replace C:\ with the appropriate drive letter.
   
6. Close Windows Explorer.
   

Remove bad HijackThis entries

• Run HijackThis
• Click on the Scan button
• Put a check beside all of the items listed below (if present):

• Close all open windows and browsers/email, etc...
• Click on the "Fix Checked" button
• When completed, close the application.

You are running MyWebSearch (or MyBar). Although not technically malware, it is thought to be bad by many experts and it will bring malware with it. There are safer alternatives available such as the Google toolbar. My Web Search also known as the My Way Speedbar is the Internet Explorer toolbar part of the Fun Web Products suite of utilities such as Smiley Central, Cursor Mania, My Mail Stationary, My Mail Signature, PopSwatter, Popular Screensavers, and the My Way website portal. The toolbar allows easy access to search engine results and a 404 Error Redirector called My Total Search among other things to your browser. This is not to be confused with the IBIS Web Search toolbar. MyWay is a search toolbar that installs into Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator, adding search functions and popup blocking. It reports your surfing activity anonymously to MyWay affiliates, helping them to serve targeted advertising to you. As a BHO, MyWay shares the memory that your browser uses, detects events, creates additional windows while you are surfing, and monitors your activity. When a new browser window is opened, MyWay will send a configuration request about 5k in size.

Although none of these products claim to be spyware, they do slow your computer down. All of the products use cookies to track usage, although they claim not to use cookies or anything else to track personally identifiable information. That being said, I would still recommend uninstalling the toolbar and other Fun Web Products if you feel your computer runs better without them. They are found by most spyware removal tools such as Spybot Search and Destroy, Lavasoft Ad-Aware, although they are deemed spyware safe by Aluria Software who created a Spyware SAFE Certification.

STEP 1:
Download SDFix and save it to your Desktop.

Double click SDFix.exe and it will extract the files to %systemdrive%
(Drive that contains the Windows Directory, typically C:\SDFix)

Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :

• Restart your computer
  
• After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
  
• Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
  
• Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
  
• Choose your usual account.
  
• Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
  
• Type Y to begin the cleanup process.
  
• It will remove any Trojan Services and Registry Entries that it finds then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
  
• Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
  
• When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
  
• Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt
  (Report.txt will also be copied to Clipboard ready for posting back on the forum).
  
• Finally paste the contents of the Report.txt back on the forum with a new HijackThis log.
  

STEP 2:
Download and Run ComboFix
If you already have Combofix, please delete this copy and download it again as it's being updated regularly.

• Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
  
• Then double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
  
• When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply
  

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
If it does, open Task Manager then Processes tab (press ctrl, alt and del at the same time) and end any processes of findstr, find, sed or swreg, then combofix should continue.
If that happened we want to know, and also what process you had to end.

Please post the SDFix report, the ComboFix log and a fresh HijackThis log in your next reply.
