New family member

Went out to the car last week and found this:

Image

All the signs of a dumping. Since we live in a rural area we get a lot of dogs and cats dumped on us. Her name is Molly now and she's a chocolate lab, pitbull, terrier mix. Actually whoever dumped her really screwed up. She's a fast learner. We are already beginning to see the end of floor puddles and poopy carpets and she will sit and stay on command. She has all the makings of a good dog.

She is wonderfull! Such sweet eyes :)
At least now she is at home where she will be loved and cared off. :)

I always wonder why do people get dogs and then throw them away because they find it hard to handle? :(
They do it for their kids sake? It happens a lot here too.

Food, love and a walk that's what a dog needs.

What a sweetie. I love dogs. :)

My two are sat beside me as I type, giving me their "isn't it about time we went for a walk" look.

You left out a good belly rub.

We used to have neighbors like that. They would get a puppy for their kids to play with. When the puppy grew up they'd take it out somewhere and dump it then pick up another puppy on the way home. Fine example that set for their kids. I wonder if those people aren't paying for it now by having their grandkids dumped on them while their now adult kids are out partying all night. :D They also missed out on the end product of having a good dog around a couple years later.

Hi MattNW

Sounds like she was real lucky in finding you, she looks a real darling, and she going to give you years of joy, can't understand people who dump pets , just selfish, uncaring, uneducated monsters, but in this case she going to be better off with you, so all worked out well for her.

Looks very cute and darlig and if it ls like the one that adopted my mom-in-law she will be a great companion and to smart for their own good. The people that dump/animals rank right up there with the creatians that write the malware .

People seem to think puppies and kittens are good to give as Christmas presents, not realising that they are not always wanted. I am glad to see one found a good home :flower:
