:bounce: i keep getting popups that are mainly titled internet speed mointor. i have updated avg, spybot, and adware. they didn't fix the problem. then a friend sent me the link for smitfraudFix. avg said this was a trojan. i have been trying to fix the problem for over a week and i think my computer is worse than it started. :? i have looked in add/remove programs and can't find the internet speed monitor. there is also something new on my desktop that says sdsetup.exe - i don't know if it is good or bad. it isn't in the add/remove programs either that i can see. i also have downloaded MalwareAlarm but when it asked for money, i was afraid to use my cc b/c of the current problems. can someone help? i'm going crazy :compress: :bounce: i have done avg, spybot, and adware in safe mode and have also tried a system restore. i get an error message for system restore and it tells me it is unable to complete the system restore for the selected time period (dec 21,22) i ran it 4 times in safe mode.

Sorry for the delay in a reply. If you still require help can you post a new HijackThis log please. Its been a few days since you've posted and something in it may have changed since then. Instead of trying to attach it to the post... just copy/paste the contents of it in your reply.

Thanks.
