C:\Windows\rising...exe. Trojan Horse Downloader Generic 6.W

Unread postby EliCuite » December 8th, 2007, 6:09 pm

About one week ago, AVG started to detect the Trojan in my computer. The pop up always reads "while opening files C;\windows\rising...exe Trojan horse Downloader .Generic 6. WBC" ...there is always a figure after the "rising".

I always choose "heal" from the options, and it always would tell you that the object has been successfully healed. But only to be reappeared not long later. I had tried to manually delete those files. But they'd re-appear there too.

Another thing it affects on some website too. Such as Hotmail. Firstly after entered my email address and password, some unrecognizable/unreadable code would appear. And I would have to re-fresh it before the it enters into Hotmail Inbox. Then, the font on the website is an enlarged one. Like those fonts on large-prints book for senior citizens.

Now, under instruction, I have undated my Window XP. I would like to know what should I do next; and would wish to know as soon as possible. Because it really annoys me.
