subscribing to threads and receipt of notifications

I notice there is an option on this board to subscribe to individual threads ;does that option also include receiving e mail notifications of replies TO those threads irrespective of our 'activity' on the forum or visit to the relevent threads? :?:

Yes - but that was also available on the old software - no change.
