Do you remember what file your virus software found? Was it combofix.exe itself?

To avoid this problem, please boot into safe mode and try those steps again:

Print these instructions or copy them to Notepad and save it to your desktop, as you won't be able to access internet in Safe Mode.

Please reboot into Safe Mode. To do this, go to Start > Turn off Computer, and select Restart. Rapidly tap F8 just before Windows starts to load. In the menu that appears, select Safe Mode (Without Networking).

Once in Safe Mode, do the following:

Click Start then Run....

  • Type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK. (Note: The space between the x and the /u needs to be there)

    Image
  • When shown the disclaimer, select 2.

Did your virus scanner mention where it found the virus?

Please post a new HijackThis log.

Ok, that are te quarantined files Combofix is trying to delete. Please do the following:

Step 1

Print these instructions or copy them to Notepad and save it to your desktop, as you won't be able to access internet in Safe Mode.

Please reboot into Safe Mode. To do this, go to Start > Turn off Computer, and select Restart. Rapidly tap F8 just before Windows starts to load. In the menu that appears, select Safe Mode (Without Networking).

Step 2

Click Start then Run....

  • Type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK. (Note: The space between the x and the /u needs to be there)

    Image
  • When shown the disclaimer, select 2.

Reboot your computer in Normal Mode and follow the prevention tips outlined in this post: http://www.malwareremoval.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=236550#p236550

It's telling me that it can't find the ComboFix file, so it must have been successfully uninstalled the first time. Thanks so much for your help! I will let you know if I encounter any other problems.
