(Awesome) Boot Virus

Unread postby Rue » November 9th, 2007, 12:28 pm

There is this <sarcasm> INCREDIBLY AWESOME </sarcasm> MBR virus that has TOTALLY wrecked the Windows boot of the computer that has it. For instance, when you boot into safe mode, the path of the system drivers is "!!mumui(1)disk(0)sdisk(0)qaruitioo(2)]WIOEOWS]syseum33\DSIVESS\*.sys"
* being the normal system drivers for XP.
I am going to google this line shortly after making this post and look for
ways to resolve this issue personally, but any sort of help would be much
appreciated.

Thanks

I forgot to mention that in the boot screen a grid of dots and exclamation points overlays the text.
