Pop ups from adssite.

Unread postby Arceyes » October 26th, 2007, 8:43 am

Hello and a big thanks for being here.
I've been having a pop up from adssite, the content is usually related to whatever I've been surfing for. I found in windows/system32 an icon similar to recycle bin named "remove adssite" when clicked a box came up with a code and a slot for me to enter the code :? , thinking it might be a ruse I deleted the icon :? .
Secondly my firewall was telling me that "aupb.exe" was asking to connect so I ticked the never box. Oh and spyware guard told me a BHO had been added to my system {26E45419-7205-4fac-BBFE-174BC733A79}
PROG ID =optimiser_adssite.1
File loc C:\windows system 32\nss4.dll.....I had SG remove it.

Sorry for the long intro, thought this may(or may not ) be useful, I've updated and ran A squared, spybot, Adaware 2007,AVG , but still get the annoying pop up, please find below my HJT log....Thanks in advance for your time and expertise.
