My PC has been compromised...help!

Unread postby angryperson » October 4th, 2007, 2:58 am

Well I was on my office PC Wednesday at 3pm when I noticed problems. My norton antivirus starting scanning emails but I wasn't sending any. Soon I saw 5 windows open up. I disconnected from my network and started a scan through norton antivirus 2007. It found a backdoor (couldn't see which one because the screen cut off and restarted right away).

Upon restart, emails kept on attempting, norton could no longer auto protect and took very long to load. Emails would see something about "Prove our special E R E C T I O N pack!" ... Couldn't detect anything with norton. In addition web surfing was difficult as anytime I clicked a link it would route to a particular server.

On desperation I deleted a couple of files that were very difficult to delete (clusapif.dll and certclit.dll). I had to use a boot disk then the recovery module to be able to delete the files as they were not giving me permission otherwise. I tried to remove them from the registry but I kept having problems taking ownership of permissions and gave up.

After doing so, I seemed to stop the emailing and the browser hi-jacks, but my antivirus is still on the fritz. Then I searched the internet for a solution till i found this place. I when ahead and followed the steps listed here and on Spybot picked up the following:
win32.murlo.ff
backdoor.win32.sdbot.gen
cimuz
telekombill.fake

I ran adaware and trojan hunt but they found nothing. Now I still can't get antivirus to auto-protect (on the status it says error). Here is the log from hijack this:
