Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to help me. Here's the scoop. While browsing yesterday Norton popped up saying it caught a virus, "downloader" I believe the name was.

The next Norton message said "can't get to this, access denied (paraphrasing)," and then finally, "deleted file." However... later that day a mysterious pop-up from "questionmarket," a survey was suddenly on my screen. It was some suspicious looking thing but raised my antenna.

I do run NIS and AVG in the background and scan weekly. So I re-ran the scans of both. Both came up clean. However, I let the computer run all night and sure enough, I had a pop-up from IE from questionmarket. I have cookies set to prompt so I denied it and it went away. There was also some site in my history yesterday called ar.voicefive.com by the way.

So I re-ran AVG and again it's clean. I could do a system restore, but I am concerned that something has insinuated itself into the computer. I kind of know this drill and have Hijackthis ready to go.

Your log looks OK.
I would Uninstall AWS Weatherbug. They have been known to deliver adware.

The only thing I will do here is remove Blockbuster from your Trusted Zone. Its website has some security questions. Don't allow anything except Microsoft or your Internet Provider in the Trusted Zone.

The other item I notice is TiVo. TiVo does track behavior and customers with its television service. I would expect it to deliver ads and track PC users also, but I don't have any facts about it.
I wouldn't allow any TiVo service on my own PC, but that's up to you.

Remove log item with HighjackThis. Start HijackThis.
Click Do System Scan Only. When the Scan is complete, Check the following entry:
O15 - Trusted Zone: http://www.blockbuster.com
Make sure Every other window except HJT is closed (No other tabs showing in the bottom tray), and Click Fix Checked
Click the "X" in the upper right corner of the HiJackThis window to close it.
