Unread postby Chrisinparis » August 11th, 2007, 4:26 am

Hi. I seem to have picked up something which seems to be a hidden adware / trojan. doesn't show up in Adaware or Avast scans. I'm also getting alerts from my Firewall that saying a programme called tqfxopeii.exe is trying to access the net. but I'm unable to find this file when searching for it.
Any help would be much appreciated.

  • The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for this issue on this machine.
  • Please continue to review my answers until I tell you your machine appears to be clear. Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.
  • It's often worth reading through these instructions and printing them for ease of reference.

Hi Dave

Thanks for replying to my post. Actually, I eventually managed to remove the offending Malware with a prog called Spyware Doctor. I wouldn't want you to waste too much time looking into this as it's now sorted out.

Thanks again and keep up the good work.
